My small business was typical. I, like many others, started because I had sales and/or technical skills (e.g. skilled trades, engineer, accountant, sales manager etc.) but no idea that running a business requires another skill set. The “successful business” grows to the point where the owner(s) feel stressed out and growth stalls.
